Live Life Unmundanely

Back in the old days when Soul II Soul ruled the airwaves, life was a bit more simple. You'd live for the moment and rate the chickas based on how high their skirts were and how much of the toned butt cheeks showed. These are vivid memories from a distant childhood I must point out. Often the things that drove your week was the date you will be having with the cute looking chick u met in Sax and how you planned to plant gentle whispers in her ear while holding her hands close to your heart. They were often shy looking but aroused after the first snog.

I know a few guys my age who are still shagging dating women half their age and enjoying the physical sides of engagements till the very last drop, before they ask for more. Saying this I am previlaged to also have friends who do not mind talking about the anotomical intricate details of their spouses. Whether in excitement or dissapointment.

They often complain about how saggy it gets and how it all now points to the ground rather than to the sky. Red nipples are now brownish black, while mowed lawns have now become unkept lawns. I find it rather enriching to hear these intimate details.

From all this I'm curious of the thought process and expectations that individuals go through going out of maritial relationships and going in to new uncharted ones. I can imagine the excitement to sailing through uncharted waters and virgin valleys. But does the exictement lasts? Doe it come to an ubrupt end eventually? I guess these are definitely the motivations in life to live it in an unmundane manner.

All Work and No Play

I've always believed that revenue should be the measure of success of a company. Saying this, I must relate to you how desperate I am for a steady revenue stream for the company. Yes I work for someone and no its not my own company. But the owners have made it clear that by hook or crook money needs to come in soon.

We've not clinched anything yet, and the pockets of the owners are ever so deep. For many moons now I've been trying to work out deals and look at oppertunities in the ICT sector to score something. But no scores yet. Most of my 'projects' are on deciding mode. Hopefully by year end it'll be a different picture altogether.

On the social side, its virtually non-existant. Only friends who call up to aks for professional favours. I've also had 'friends' who misuse our friendship for professional gains. Sad but true that there are oppertunists out there who indulge in such misbehaviours. So apart from unreliable assitants, aborted friendships and dishonest customers, my life has been pretty hectic.

Last year saw the passing of a dear friend 'Design Junkie' aka Harris. Hes been a good friend and a blogging companion to whom this blog has had links to since day 1. You can find his now defunc link in my list of blogger friends down this page. There are things that we've shared, that until now no one else in this world knows about. Truly felt his deminise.
